As we celebrate Oscar's 4 month Birthday, the outlook is positive for his DDH. He had a cast for a month and still wears a harness, but we can remove the harness for 4 hours per day, and in 10 days we can remove it for 8 hours a day, so he's getting better. We hope he can ditch the brace completely in mid feb.
Day 2: Rachel recovering well and moving around but we've found out that Oscar has dislocated hips...a result of early arrival and breech presentation. He will probably wear a harness for a little while until the hips grow correctly. It's good that the doctors caught it this early. They expect the harness to correct the problem.
